Sustainable Communication Models

Sustainable Communication models walk you through how to face difficult conversations and stay connected to the person you're talking with. The models raise the likelihood of having a positive outcome for both parties.

These themes run through most models:

  • describing your experience in a situation rather than blaming or judging the other person
  • listening well, testing what you hear by asking questions or saying back what you've heard rather than making assumptions.
