About I Day

What's happening September 12,
next day, next step

Mediators, dialogue facilitators, peacemakers and educators across the state and nation are being asked to volunteer their services to hold dialogues, mediate disputes, provide conflict resolution training, offer demonstrations or provide information on projects that successfully use these skills. Activities can be planned on street corners and in homes, neighborhoods, congregations, towns, schools and organizations...wherever. The website offers suggestions and resources for what you can do .

How will this happen?
Interdependence day is not an "organized" event. It is a self-organizing project that is being created by individuals in and for their families, neighborhoods, communities, congregations, workplaces, schools, agencies, towns. What that means is that You can help make it happen in your community. The website provides ideas and resources for what you can do , that make it easy to participate.
