What Individuals
can do...
Interdependence
Day is a call to action. Be a catalyst. Ask local mediators and facilitators
to create an activity that addresses a particular community need. School administrations
or town boards are often beset with conflict and feel they have no resources
for help. Ask a mediator to provide free services for a conflict you are aware
of in your community or ask that they give a workshop in your community. You
provide the people or the conflict; the mediator or facilitator provides the
service.
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change
the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." Margaret Mead
